Quality and Selection
An Antique Print is a sheet of paper on which a design has been imprinted from a matrix made of stone, wood, metal, etc. In an original print the matrix is made by hand. Any print issued prior to 1900 is considered to be an Antique Print.
From metal plates we get engravings, etchings, aquatint, and mezzotints. From stones we get lithographs. All of these may be finished by hand with watercolor
Antique Prints make a fascinating subject for collecting, investing, gifts for special occasions, and interesting, unusual, decorative items for the Home, Office, Public Areas, Lobbies, Hotel Rooms, etc.
